High-Tech Bridge SA has discovered multiple vulnerabilities in web2Project, which can be exploited by malicious users and malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
1) Input passed via the "search_string" POST parameter to index.php (when "m" is set to "contacts") is not properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
2) Input passed via the "updatekey" parameter to updatecontact.php and do_updatecontact.php is not properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 3.1. Other versions may also be affected.
