ASUS RT-AC68U Router "current_page" Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability


Description   Alligator Security Team has reported a vulnerability in ASUS RT-AC68U router, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
Input passed via the "current_page" GET parameter to apply.cgi is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 3.0.0.4.374.5047.
