HomeSeer HS2 File Disclosure Vulnerability


Description   A vulnerability has been discovered in HomeSeer HS2, which can be exploited by malicious users to disclose sensitive information.
Input passed via the URL is not properly verified before being used to download files. This can be exploited to download arbitrary files from local resources via directory traversal sequences.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 2.5.0.49. Other versions may also be affected.
