Openfire Remote SQL Injection and Cross Site Scripting Vulnerabilities


Description   Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in Openfire, which could be exploited by remote attackers to bypass security restrictions, or inject arbitrary SQL queries and scripting code.
The first issue is caused by a design error in the AuthCheckFilter, which could allow unauthenticated attackers to gain access to administrative functions.
The second vulnerability is caused by an input validation error in the "sipark-log-summary.jsp" script when processing the "type" parameter, which could be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
The third issue is caused by an input validation error in the "login.jsp" script that does not validate the "url" parameter, which could be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross site scripting attacks.
