MyBB Multiple Remote SQL Injection and Cross Site Scripting Vulnerabilities


Description   Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in MyBB (MyBulletinBoard), which could be exploited by remote attackers to perform SQL injection and cross site scripting.
The first issue is due to an input validation error when handling malformed attachment content dispositions, which could be exploited by attackers to cause malicious scripting code to be executed by the user's browser.
The second flaw is due to input validation errors in the "global.php" and "inc/init.php" scripts that do not validate certain variables, which could be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection and cross site scripting attacks.
