A vulnerability has been discovered in the Dynamic Widgets plugin for WordPress, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
Input passed via the "id" parameter to wp-admin/themes.php (when "page" is set to "dynwid-config" and "action" is set to "edit") is not properly sanitised in wp-content/plugins/dynamic-widgets/dynwid_admin_edit.php before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.5.1. Prior versions may also be affected.
