WordPress myEASYbackup Plugin "dwn_file" File Disclosure Vulnerability


Description   A vulnerability has been discovered in the myEASYbackup plugin for WordPress, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose sensitive information.
Input passed to the "dwn_file" POST parameter in wp-content/plugins/myeasybackup/meb_download.php is not properly verified before being used to display files. This can be exploited to disclose the contents of arbitrary files via directory traversal sequences.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.0.8.1. Other versions may also be affected.
