Invision Power Board "class_upload.php" Client-Side Cross Site Scripting Vulnerability


Description   A vulnerability has been identified in Invision Power Board (IP.Board), which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary scripting code. This issue is caused by an input validation error in the "class_upload.php" script that does not validate the contents of uploaded images and PDF files, which could be exploited by attackers to cause arbitrary scripting code to be executed by the user's browser (IE) in the security context of an affected Web site.
