Multiple vulnerabilities have been discovered in AdaptCMS, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting and SQL injection attacks.
1) Input passed via the "view" GET parameter and the "do" GET parameter (when "view" is set to "share") to admin.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
2) Input passed via the "HTTP Referer" header to index.php is not properly sanitised in config.php before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
3) Input passed via the "id" GET parameter to index.php (when "view" is set to "plugins", "plugin" is set to "tinyurl", and "module" is set to "go") is not properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
4) Input passed via the "question" POST parameter to index.php (when "custom" is set to "1", "poll_id" is set to a valid poll ID, and "vote" is set to an arbitrary numerical value) is not properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 2.0.4. Other versions may also be affected.
