Mantis "target_field" Parameter Cross Site Scripting Vulnerability


Description   A vulnerability has been identified in Mantis, which may be exploited by attackers to inject malicious HTML code. This flaw is due to an input validation error in the "view_filters_page.php" script when processing a specially crafted "target_field" parameter, which may be exploited by attackers to cause arbitrary scripting code to be executed by the user's browser in the security context of an affected Web site.
