High-Tech Bridge has discovered multiple vulnerabilities in AContent, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting and SQL injection attacks.
1) Input passed via the "pathext", "popup", "framed", and "file" parameters to file_manager/preview_top.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
2) Input passed via the "id" parameter to user/user_password.php and the "field" parameter to course_category/index_inline_editor_submit.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.2. Prior versions may also be affected.
