Joomla "searchword" Parameter Processing Remote Code Injection Vulnerability


Description   A vulnerability has been identified in Joomla, which could be exploited by remote attackers to compromise a vulnerable web server. This issue is caused by input validation errors in the "components/com_search/views/search/tmpl/default_results.php" and "templates/beez/html/com_search/search/default_results.php" scripts when processing the "searchword" parameter, which could be exploited by remote attackers to inject and execute arbitrary PHP code with the privileges of the web server.
