WP-Cumulus Plugin for WordPress Cross Site Scripting Vulnerabilities


Description   Two vulnerabilities have been identified in WP-Cumulus Plugin for WordPress, which could be exploited to conduct cross site scripting attacks.
The first issue is caused by an input validation error in the "tagcloud.swf" file when processing the "tagcloud" parameter, which could be exploited by attackers to cause arbitrary scripting code to be executed by the user's browser in the security context of an affected site.
The second vulnerability is caused by an input validation error in the "wp-cumulus.php" script when processing user-supplied parameters, which could be exploited by attackers to cause arbitrary scripting code to be executed by the user's browser in the security context of an affected site.
