MyBB Multiple Parameter Handling Client-Side Cross Site Scripting Vulnerabilities


Description   Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in MyBB, which may be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary scripting code. These flaws are due to input validation errors in the "index.php" and "inc/generic_error.php" scripts when handling the "navbits[][name]", "message", and "code" parameters, which could be exploited by attackers to cause arbitrary scripting code to be executed by the user's browser in the security context of an affected Web site.
Note : An error in the "inc/plugins/hello.php" script could be exploited by attackers to determine the installation path.
