WordPress Contus Video Gallery Plugin SQL Injection Vulnerability

Description

A vulnerability has been discovered in the Contus Video Gallery plugin for WordPress, which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct SQL injection attacks.
Input passed via the "vid" GET parameter to "wp-admin/admin-ajax.php" (when "action" is set to "googleadsense") is not properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability requires Editor or higher privileges.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 2.7. Prior versions may also be affected.
