CGI Calendar "year" Variable Handling Cross Site Scripting Vulnerability


Description   A vulnerability has been identified in CGI Calendar, which may be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary scripting code. This flaw is due to input validation errors in the "index.cgi" and "viewday.cgi" scripts that do not properly validate the "year" parameter, which could be exploited by attackers to cause malicious scripting code to be executed by the user's browser in the security context of an affected Web site.
