Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in Pivot, which could be exploited by remote attackers to compromise a vulnerable server or execute arbitrary scripting code.
The first flaw is due to an input validation error in the "includes/editor/insert_image.php" script that does not properly validate file extensions, which could be exploited by remote attackers to upload malicious PHP scripts and execute arbitrary commands with the privileges of the web server.
The second issue is due to input validation errors in various scripts (e.g. "includes/blogroll.php" and "includes/photo.php") that do not validate certain parameters (e.g. "fg" or "h"), which could be exploited by attackers to cause arbitrary scripting code to be executed by the user's browser in the security context of an affected Web site.
