SEC Consult has reported two vulnerabilities in EMC Documentum eRoom, which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct script insertion attacks.
1) Input passed via "SupportMsg" POST parameter to /eRoomASP/eRoomSubmit.asp (when "FormName" is set to "sDlgGeneral", "Ctxt" is set to "S_1", "IsERPage" is set to "TRUE", "ERClickInMap" is set to "FALSE", "command" is set to "btnOK", "SubmitChecker" is set to "set", "HasRichText" is set to "false", "PercentageObjectLimit" is set to "80", "IEUsersWorkOffline", "AllowExtAppCommands", "EnableWebDav", "UseSecureCookies", "AlertAdminsObjectCount", "MembersChoosePluginOption", "EnableFileBlocking" are set to "on", and "IEDummyField", "ERWindowName", "EditSiteName", "ExpireSession", "BlockedFileExtensions", "OverrideURL", "OtherInfoString", "PaginationThreshold", "LMLThreshold", "HMLThreshold", "RolodexTabs", and "SessionKey" are set) is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious data is being viewed.

This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious data is being viewed.
