SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor "ReturnUrl" Open Redirection Weakness


Description   A weakness has been reported in the SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct spoofing attacks.
Input passed via the "ReturnUrl" parameter to Login.aspx is not properly verified before being used to redirect users. This can be exploited to redirect a user to an arbitrary website e.g. when a user clicks a specially crafted link to the affected script hosted on a trusted domain.
The vulnerability is reported in version 11.5. Other versions may also be vulnerable.
