Description
|
|
Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in Claroline, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
1) Input passed via multiple GET parameters to multiple scripts is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
List of affected scripts and parameters:
<a href="http://[host]/messaging/messagebox.php?box
" target="_blank">http://[host]/messaging/messagebox.php?box
</a>
<a href="http://[host]/admin/adminregisteruser.php?cidToEdit
" target="_blank">http://[host]/admin/adminregisteruser.php?cidToEdit
</a>
<a href="http://[host]/admin/admin_user_course_settings.php?ccfrom=culist&uidToEdit=1&cidToEdit
" target="_blank">http://[host]/admin/admin_user_c...p;uidToEdit=1&cidToEdit
</a>
<a href="http://[host]/admin/module/module.php?module_id
" target="_blank">http://[host]/admin/module/module.php?module_id
</a>
<a href="http://[host]/admin/right/profile_list.php?cmd=exLock&offset
" target="_blank">http://[host]/admin/right/profil...t.php?cmd=exLock&offset
</a>
2) Input passed via the "coursesearchbox_keyword" GET parameter to index.php and via the "Referer" HTTP header to claroline/auth/inscription.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerabilities are reported in versions prior to 1.11.9.
