FlatNuke Directory Traversal and Cross Site Scripting Vulnerabilities


Description   Multiple vulnerabilities were identified in FlatNuke, which may be exploited by remote attackers to disclose sentitive information or conduct cross site scripting attacks.
The first issue is due to an input validation error when processing a specially crafted "usr" parameter, which may be exploited by attackers to cause arbitrary scripting code to be executed by the user's browser.
The second flaw is due to an input validation error in the "read" module that does not properly filter a specially crafted "id" parameter, which may be exploited by attackers to read arbitrary files and disclose sensitive information (i.e. passwords).
