WordPress 2 Click Social Media Buttons Two Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerabilities


Description   Two vulnerabilities have been discovered in the 2 Click Social Media Buttons plugin for WordPress, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
Input passed to the "pinterest-url" parameter in wp-content/plugins/2-click-socialmedia-buttons/libs/pinterest.php (when "pinterest-description" is set) and "xing-url" in wp-content/plugins/2-click-socialmedia-buttons/libs/xing.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 0.32.2. Other versions may also be affected.
