Multiple vulnerabilities have been discovered in Aanval SAS, which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct SQL injection attacks and by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
1) Input passed via the "dip", "dport", "protocol", "query", "risk", "sip", "sport", and "string" GET parameters to index.php (when "op" is set to "prv_eventSearch") is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
2) Input passed via the "num" GET parameter to index.php and via the "transaction" GET parameter to index.php (when "op" is set to "prv_eventSearchResults") is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
3) Input passed via the "id" GET parameter to index.php (when "op" is set to "prv_myReports") and via the "query" GET parameter to index.php (when "op" is set to "prv_eventSearch") is not properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 7.1 build 70152. Other versions may also be affected.
