Joomla! JV Comment Component "id" SQL Injection Vulnerability


Description   High-Tech Bridge SA has reported a vulnerability in the JV Comment component for Joomla!, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
Input passed via the "id" POST parameter to index.php (when "option" is set to "com_jvcomment" and "task" is set to "comment.like") is not properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
The vulnerability is reported in version 3.0.2. Prior versions may also be affected.
