ProjectForum "newname" Script Insertion Vulnerability


Description   A vulnerability has been discovered in ProjectForum, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct script insertion attacks.
Input passed via the "newname" parameter when renaming a page is not properly sanitised before being displayed to the user. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious data is being viewed.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 7.0.1.3038. Other version may also be affected.
