Simple Machines Forum "X-Forwarded-For" Cross Site Scripting Vulnerability


Description   A vulnerability has been identified in Simple Machines Forum, which may be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary scripting code. This flaw is due to an input validation error in the "Sources/Register.php" script that does not validate the "X-Forwarded-For" header, which could be exploited by attackers to cause malicious scripting code to be executed by the user's browser via the "View all members" section.
