A vulnerability has been reported in the WP-RecentComments plugin for WordPress, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
Input passed via the "page" parameter to index.php (when "action" is set to "rc-ajax") is not properly sanitised in wp-content/plugins/wp-recentcomments/core.php before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 2.0.7.
