WordPress SlideDeck 2 Lite Responsive Content Slider Plugin ZeroClipboard Two Cross-Site Scripting


Description   Henri Salo has discovered two vulnerabilities in the SlideDeck 2 Lite Responsive Content Slider plugin for WordPress, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
Input passed via the "id" parameter to wp-content/plugins/slidedeck2/js/zeroclipboard/ZeroClipboard.swf and wp-content/plugins/slidedeck2/js/zeroclipboard/ZeroClipboard10.swf is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 2.1.20130306. Prior versions may also be affected.
