Openfire Cross Site Scripting and Directory Traversal Vulnerabilities

Description   Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in Openfire, which could be exploited by attackers to gain knowledge of sensitive information.
The first issue is caused by an input validation error in the "log.jsp" script when processing the "log" parameter, which could be exploited by malicious people to disclose the contents of arbitrary files via directory traversal attacks.
The second vulnerability is caused by input validation errors in the "logviewer.jsp", "group-summary.jsp", "user-properties.jsp", "audit-policy.jsp", "log.jsp", "server-properties.jsp", "security-audit-viewer.jsp", "muc-room-summary.jsp", and "muc-room-edit-form.jsp" scripts when processing user-supplied parameters, which could be exploited by attackers to cause arbitrary scripting code to be executed by the user's browser in the security context of an affected Web site.
