WordPress Affiliate Platform Plugin "msg" Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability

Description

A vulnerability has been reported in the Affiliate Platform plugin for WordPress, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting vulnerability.
Input passed via the "msg" GET parameter to wp-content/plugins/wp-affiliate-platform/affiliates/login.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerability is reported in version 5.7.8. Other versions may also be affected.
