loneferret has discovered multiple vulnerabilities in Cyclope Employee Surveillance Solution, which can be exploited by malicious users to bypass certain security restrictions and conduct SQL injection attacks and by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
1) Input passed via the "username" parameter to index.php is not properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
2) Input passed via the "mid", "first_name", "last_name", "password", and "email" parameters to index.php (when "act" is set to "member-account" and "pag" is set to "myaccount") is not properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
3) The application does not properly verify requests to change user account data and can be exploited to e.g. change the password of an administrative user.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 6.0.8.5 trial and reported in versions 6.2 and prior.
