HauntIT has discovered multiple vulnerabilities in TYPO3, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
1) Input passed via the "tx_scheduler[class]" POST parameter to /typo3/mod.php (when "M" is set to "tools_txschedulerM1", "CMD" is set to "edit", and "tx_scheduler[uid]" is set to a valid value) is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
2) Input passed via the "bparams" and "RTEtsConfigParams" GET parameters to /typo3/sysext/rtehtmlarea/mod4/select_image.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 6.1.7. Other versions may also be affected.
