XMB Forum Cross Site Scripting and Full Path Disclosure Vulnerabilities


Description   Multiple vulnerabilities were identified in XMB, which could be exploited by malicious users to conduct cross site scripting attacks or disclose sensitive information.
The first is due to an input validation error in the "member.php" script when processing a specially crafted "Your Current Mood" field during the registration process, which may be exploited by attackers to cause arbitrary scripting code to be executed by the user's browser.
The second issue is due to an input validation error in the "post.php" script when handling a specially crafted "fid" parameter, which may be exploited by attackers to determine the installation path.
