High-Tech Bridge SA has reported multiple vulnerabilities in ocPortal, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose potentially sensitive information and conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
1) Input passed to the "path" and "line" parameters in code_editor.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
2) Input passed to the "file" parameter in site/catalogue_file.php (when "original_filename" is set) is not properly verified before being used to display files. This can be exploited to disclose the contents of arbitrary files via directory traversal sequences.
The vulnerabilities are reported in version 7.1.5. Prior versions may also be affected.
