Snitz Forums 2000 "sound" and "url" Cross Site Scripting Vulnerabilities


Description   Two vulnerabilities have been identified in Snitz Forums 2000, which could be exploited to conduct cross site scripting attacks.
The first issue is caused by an input validation error when processing "sound" tags, which could be exploited by attackers to cause arbitrary scripting code to be executed by the user's browser in the security context of an affected site.
The second vulnerability is caused by an input validation error in the "pop_send_to_friend.asp" script when processing the "url" parameter, which could be exploited by attackers to cause arbitrary scripting code to be executed by the user's browser in the security context of an affected site.
