MediaWiki Web-based Installer Cross Site Scripting Vulnerabilities


Description   Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in MediaWiki, which could be exploited by attackers to gain knowledge of sensitive information. These issues are caused by unspecified input validation errors in the web-based installer (config/index.php), which could be exploited by attackers to cause arbitrary scripting code to be executed by the user's browser in the security context of an affected site.
Note: The vulnerabilities exist only if the installer has not yet been used to install a wiki.
