Axis M10 Series Network Cameras "pageTitle" Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability


Description   Matt Metzger has reported a vulnerability in Axis M10 Series Network Cameras, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
Input passed to the "pageTitle" parameter in admin/showReport.shtml (when "content" is set to "serverreport.cgi") is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerability is reported in Axis M1054 firmware version 5.21. Other versions may also be affected.
