Ben Schmidt has discovered a vulnerability in the Mini Mail Dashboard Widget plugin for WordPress, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.
Input passed to the "abspath" parameter in wordpress/wp-content/plugins/mini-mail-dashboard-widget/wp-mini-mail.php is not properly verified before being used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local or external resources.
The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 1.36. Prior versions may also be affected.
