Piwik Multiple Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerabilities

Description   Some vulnerabilities have been reported in Piwik, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
Certain input passed to index.php/.html? (when "module" is set to "API") is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerabilities requires that the victim uses Internet Explorer.
The vulnerabilities are reported in versions prior to 2.8.1.
