A vulnerability has been discovered in the BuddyPress plugin for WordPress, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
Input passed via the "exclude" POST parameter to wp-load.php (when "action" is set to "activity_widget_filter" and "page" is set) is not properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.5.4. Prior versions may also be affected.
