WordPress Duplicate Post Plugin "post" Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability

Description   dxwsecurity has discovered a vulnerability in the Duplicate Post plugin for WordPress, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
Input passed via the "post" parameter to /wp-admin/options-general.php (when "action" is set to "duplicate_post_save_as_new_post") is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 2.4.1. Prior versions may also be affected.
