WordPress BackWPup Plugin "BackWPupJobTemp" File Inclusion Vulnerability


Description   Sense of Security has discovered a vulnerability in the BackWPup plugin for WordPress, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.
Input passed to the "BackWPupJobTemp" parameter in wp-content/plugins/backwpup/job/wp_export_generate.php is not properly verified before being used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from remote resources.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 2.1.5. Other versions may also be affected.
