High-Tech Bridge has discovered two vulnerabilities in OpenX, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
1) Input passed to the "package" parameter in www/admin/plugin-index.php (when "action" is set to "disable") is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
2) Input passed to the "group" parameter in www/admin/plugin-settings.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 2.8.10. Other versions may also be affected.
