CF_Nuke Directory Traversal and Cross Site Scripting Vulnerabilities


Description   Multiple vulnerabilities were identified in CF_Nuke, which may be exploited by remote attackers to conduct directory traversal or cross site scripting attacks.
The first issue is due to input validation errors when processing specially crafted "cat", "topic" and "newsid" variables, which may be exploited by attackers to cause arbitrary scripting code to be executed by the user's browser.
The second flaw is due to input validation errors in "index.cfm" script when handling a specially crafted "sector" and "page" parameters, which may be exploited by remote attackers to disclose the contents of arbitrary "cfm" files.
