Two vulnerabilities have been discovered in the Quick Contact Form plugin for WordPress, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct script insertion attacks.
Input passed via the "qcfname1" and "qcfname4" POST parameters while sending messages through a contact form is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious data is being viewed.
Successful exploitation requires a page or a post containing a contact form (the [qcf] shortcode).
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 6.0. Prior versions may also be affected.
